The SoundsAbout season returns to Projektraum Zwitschermaschine from November 15th to December 13th, once again warmly opening its doors to Berlin’s Winter critters. We are thrilled to showcase the work of UdK’s Sound Studies and Sonic Art’s Master’s Program, as well as host external artists and curators. Aside from concerts and listening sessions, our goal is to offer a space where students, sound artists and potential creative admirers can connect and learn.
“Shivering circuits”, originally quoted from ‘808s & heartbreak’ (McKittrick & Weheliye, 2017, p. 15), explores the connections between carnality, impulse or reflex, and systemic loops, structures or divisions. Through experimental sonic performances and installations, this season promotes discussions relating to human nature, ancestry, land, conditioning, looping and hacking.
