Installation by Helen Hines

28-30. March 2025

A descent into the paradox of liberation and disassociation, We Forgive Nothing. We Forgive Everything. confronts the unbearable contradictions of womanhood within the suffocating confines of patriarchy. Raw and unrelenting, this collaborative film challenges the boundaries of agency, embodiment, and identity, interweaving the cycles of control and surrender, violence and tenderness, empowerment and erasure.

Fragmented, nonlinear, and dreamlike, the film evokes the fragile state of women shaped by forces larger than themselves: the silent violence of perfection, the allure and betrayal of independence, and the bitter legacy of forgiveness. Layered with sometimes violent, sometimes tender imagery, haunting lullabies filled with sounds of broken glass, and unsettling scenes of catharsis and care, the film invites audiences into a haunting exploration of the cycles we inherit, embody, and resist.

This work is an elegy, a scream, and a reckoning. A kaleidoscope of fractured memory and emergent strength, We Forgive Nothing. We Forgive Everything. stands as a testament to the beauty and insanity of survival.

Berlin-based un-disciplined artist, researching the intersections of sound, film, painting, performance and somatic research. My artworks are a space to explore how contemplative embodiment, improvisation, and erotic ritual can be points of access to sense the living, connective tissue between ourselves, the spaces we inhabit and one another. By working across disciplines and sense-organs, I seek to create experiences through my practice that invite introspection and innate curiosity, out of which the unexpected may emerge. www.kekesol.com
